History
Columbia Lodge No. 285 received its dispensation for a new Lodge in February 1904. Its charter was issued February 16, 1905.
On May 9, 1904, the first meeting was held in the Knights of Pythias Castle in Ballston on the second floor of Suttons Feed Store.
On June 26, 1909, the cornerstone of a new temple was laid. On December 6, 1909, the first meeting of Columbia Lodge was held in the new temple.
Columbia Lodge has continued to grow since its inception.
